Facebook denies ads for Florida based distillery's 'Back The Blue" marketing event: Facebook has blocked numerous requests from Loaded Cannon Distillery to run ads for its "Back The Blue" event aimed at promoting its new line of liquors honoring various groups of first responders. To kick off the new bottle series, Loaded Cannon Distillery planned its "Back the Blue New Spirits Launch" for May 29. Ahead of that date, Michelle Russell, the marketing and creative director for the company, said Facebook denied her numerous requests to place $200 ads for the event. "First one April 20th, rejected; 28th, rejected; 5th rejected," she listed, according to FOX13 Tampa Bay. While the company can still post about the event on its page, the exposure and reach is not the same as a sponsored post that is paid to be placed in front of more users.
