Facebook disabled the account of Immunology and Biotechnology expert: Facebook removed Immunology & Biotechnology PhD and former University College of Dublin professor, Dolores Cahill from its platform. Cahill is known for her outspoken comments against the COVID-19 vaccines and for holding an anti-lockdown protest, according to The Irish Times. A Meta spokesperson told The Irish Times that the account was disabled due to: “aggressive steps to fight harmful Covid-19 misinformation on our platforms.” It is unclear whether a specific post or piece of content led to the ban.
