N.J. Women For Trump

N.J. Women For Trump Facebook group temporarily removed from platform: A private Facebook group of New Jersey women who support President Donald Trump was suddenly removed from the platform on Oct. 31, just days before the election on Nov. 3. An election in which suburban women voters are expected to play a major role. The group had amassed approximately 29,000 members by the time it was removed. The co-director of N.J. Women For Trump, Priscilla Confrey, told a local New Jersey media outlet that Facebook did not send her any notifications, or an explanation, about why the group was removed from the platform. Confrey added that Facebook had recently flagged some of the group's posts, but she said she complies and deletes the posts rather than put up a fight. President Trump even weighed in when he noticed the group had been slashed from Facebook. N.J. Women For Trump was eventually reinstated the following day.
