Dr. Joseph Nicolosi
Case #

YouTube terminates late Doctor's channel two years after terminating channel of his association: In a case of history repeating itself, YouTube re-visited the case of the late Dr. Joseph Nicolosi and his Reintegrative Therapy Association. In January of 2022, after a leftist hit piece accused the Association of constituting "conversion therapy," YouTube deleted the channel associated with the therapy group. Now two years later, shortly after the same leftist group issued a new hit piece pointing out that while the Reintegrative Therapy Association's channel was removed, the late doctor's channel was still available, YouTube has terminated that channel as well. According to The Daily Signal, the doctor's son, who was running his father's YouTube channel since his passing, received several communications from YouTube that specifically called out a portion of one video in which the late doctor referenced the name of a book call "The Sissy Boy Syndrome: The Development of Homosexuality." YouTube deemed this "hate speech," and initially removed the video. After another video was also removed th next day, the younger Nicolosi asked YouTube to reconsider the decision, at which time he was informed by YouTube that the content did not violate its rules. However, the following day, YouTube terminated the channel entirely, claiming that it had found "severe or repeated violations of [YouTube's] hate speech policy." After appealing once again, YouTube confirmed to Nicolosi that the decision was correct and final.
