The Foundation for Economic Education (FEE) noticed their YouTube metrics, like click-through rate, engagement  and other statistics, had oddly declined for a video criticizing entertainment powerhouse Disney and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The video was critical of the movie "Mulan" for crediting institutions linked with Uighur Muslim detention camps. Initially, the video had been trending well based on metrics from FEE's last 10 uploads, when all of a sudden the account managers noticed the video was substantially losing visibility. FEE received no explanation or reason for why this decline may have occurred. Most likely it's the algorithm being the algorithm, which appears to be biased against certain types of content.
