Facebook blocks sharing of Daily Mail article about BLM co-founder's controversial multi-million dollar real estate empire: Facebook has blocked the ability for users on its platform to share an article written by British news outlet the Daily Mail that exposes Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Kahn-Cullors' controversial multi-million dollar property empire. "This content was removed for violating our privacy and personal information policy,"  a Facebook spokesperson told the Daily Mail. Facebook explained further that it blocked the Daily Mail's article from appearing on its platform because it "shared multiple details which could identify the residence of one of the BLM founders, in violation of her privacy rights." The same sharing restriction was also levied against the New York Post's article on the same story a day prior. Additionally, a litany of Twitter users have had their accounts locked for tweeting about the story. Amid the controversy, BLM put out a statement this week defending Cullors. In it, the political organization remarked that the reporting on Cullors' real estate properties "continues a tradition of terror by white supremacists against Black activists."
