Twitter censors user for tweet regarding COVID-19 vaccine side effects: A Twitter user shared a screenshot showing another user's censorship. The censored user had tweeted: "Swelling of the heart appears to be 'a very rare side effect' that primarily strikes young people after vaccination for #COVID19, said Tom Shimabukuro, MD, deputy director of the CDC's Immunization Safety Office." The tweet included a link to a WebMD article titled, in part, "Evidence Ties COVID Vaccines to Heart Issue in Young..." and a partial lede stating "An FDA advisory panel discussed the 'rare, but real' evidence of myocarditis after COVID vaccines..." Twitter locked the user out of his account for this tweet. It also labeled the tweet "Misleading" and prevented it from being liked, replied to or shared without quote tweeting it. The user's account was later permanently suspended.
