Facebook placed a fact check label on the post, claiming that the quote was misattributed. When attempting to share the post, user's are first presented with a notice that reads: "False information in this post. Independent fact-checkers at Check Your Fact say this post has false information. To help stop the spread of false news, a notice will be added to your post if you decide to share this." According to Facebook, users fail to click through fact-check interstitials 95% of the time.
