YouTube puts context label on GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s video: YouTube imposed a fact-checking label on presidential candidate Nikki Haley’s Nov. 14 video, “DeSantis Is Lying Because He's Losing.” The video addressed the disagreement that Haley and DeSantis had been having over the course of two debates about the fracking ban in Florida and whether or not DeSantis supported it or was responsible for it in any way. YouTube put a context label that linked to the United Nations and claimed, “Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns, mainly caused by human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels.” A 2022 study found that atmospheric CO2 from fossil fuels was too low to cause global warming.
