Facebook censors user for a chart tracking the accuracy of statements about COVID-19 that were previously seen as "conspiracy theories": A Twitter user stated that his Facebook account had been suspended for 30 days for posting a meme. The meme consisted of a chart looking at claims about COVID-19 and the vaccines with a column labeled "A year ago" where every claim is labeled as a "Conspiracy Theory," and another column labeled "Now" where every claim is labeled "Truth." The list of claims included: "Vaccinated can spread COVID," "Vaccinated are susceptible to new variants and reinfection," "COVID vaccines can cause blood clots and other serious side effects," "3rd and 4th shot," "New shots every year/half a year," "Shots for young children," "Total segregation of the society," "Camps for the unvaccinated," "Unvaccinated unable to work," "Harder access of medical care for unvaccinated," and "Secret contracts between Pfizer and governments." According to the screenshot that the user shared, Facebook claimed that this meme violated its "standards on misinformation that could cause physical harm." The post was also deleted.
