Twitter censors user for innocuous tweet: A Twitter user shared a screenshot of her censorship notice. She tweeted "I remember you from the end of apartheid. I was 16 in 1994, celebrating the end of apartheid. I no longer live in SA, but I am so happy to see you taking on COVID." Twitter's notoriously bad AI algorithm flagged this tweet, according to the user, for violating its rules against abuse and harassment. The user's account was locked until she deleted the tweet after not getting a response to her appeal after nine days.
