Twitter suspends the Maxwell Trial Tracker account: Alleged sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's accused accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell is currently undergoing trial for her role in Epstein's alleged affairs. "Assistant U.S. Attorney Lara Pomerantz said at the start of Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial that the British socialite and Epstein enticed girls as young as 14 to engage in 'so-called massages' in which sex abuse came to be seen as 'casual and normal' after vulnerable victims were showered with money and gifts," according to The Associated Press. The Twitter account @TrackerTrial was known as "the largest account on Twitter that specifically tracked the Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein trial," according to blogger The Free Press Report, who claimed to own the account. Twitter suspended the account, which had accumulated over 520,000 followers. The Free Press Report included a purported snapshot of a notification in its blog of the suspension, which showed Twitter purportedly claiming that @TrialTracker violated its "rules against platform manipulation and spam." The Free Press Report blog reported: "According to Twitter’s rules, apparently the account was 'artificially' amplifying information. I am not sure what I was 'amplifying' and how I was doing that."
