YouTube reportedly deleted video from independent journalist Matt Orfalea which chronicled the platform's censorship of another independent creator: Independent journalist and video creator Matt Orfalea has been having a tough go with YouTube as of late. "YouTube has been on a fascist CENSORSHIP rampage," tweeted Orfalea. "Among other things, I've been banned and falsely accused by YouTube of involvement with 'violent criminal organizations'. Yesterday, YT deleted another video. Their reasons still make no sense." The deleted video uploaded by Orfalea defended fellow independent journalist Alison Morrow who had her video featuring Orfalea, on Big Tech's censorship of independent creators, reportedly removed by the platform. "Last night YouTube removed my video citing Alison's (previously removed, now reinstated) video exposing YT's double standard," Orfalea tweeted. "MSM can break YT rules, while indie creators are punished even when they obey the rules." A purported deletion notice sent to Orfalea indicated his channel would not be receiving a strike for the violation.
