YouTube removes video of Kelly Tshibaka, Alaskan candidate for Senate on Steven Bannon podcast: Alaska Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka shared video of an interview she did with Steven Bannon on the War Room podcast to her YouTube channel. Eight months later, leftist site Media Matters for America wrote a story highlighting Congressional candidates who had uploaded video of their appearance on Bannon's program to their own YouTube channel as part of their campaign, despite Bannon's program being banned from YouTube. The site was making the point that these videos were circumventing the YouTube ban. The Media Matters article noted that, in her appearance with Bannon, Tshibaka had made the point that "Democrats are making 'an attack on the very principles that this country was established on' and 'unraveling those ideas' that make up the basis for American democracy 'while claiming that this is bringing unity.'” Some weeks after the article appeared, CensorTrack noticed that YouTube had removed some of the videos highlighted in it. Tshibaka's video was the second to be removed by YouTube, though CensorTrack is not aware of the reasoning that YouTube provided for the removal. CensorTrack is monitoring the other videos that Media Matters has attempted to get removed from YouTube through its activist reporting, and will add entries if any others are removed.
