Conservative radio host suspended from Twitter after experiment using AOC's words: Conservative radio host and author Jonathan T Gilliam heard a live video that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did and did not like some of her language. He heard her say: "That Southern states are not red states, they are suppressed states, which means the only way that our country’s going to heal is through the actual liberation of Southern states, the actual liberation of the poor, the actual liberation of working people, from economic, social and racial oppression. That’s the only way." Afterward, he "tweeted the exact same words except I input 'Democrats' where she wrote 'Red States.'" Twitter suspended his account for 7 days after this tweet. He also stated on Twitter before his suspension: "@AOC says the nations “red states” are oppressive & need to be liberated. If she can say that without violating @Twitter policies, then I can say every city & state democrats control is corrupt, violent, oppressive & constitutionally unsound. They should be liberated." It should be noted, however, that she did not tweet this statement, but rather said it in an Instagram Live video.
