X community adds a context note to post about energy independence: An X (formerly Twitter) account for Citizen Free Press posted, "Gavin Newsom pushed back on Fox News: "Here's what Fox News isn't telling you: America's energy independence is at its highest level in 70 years thanks to Joe Biden."" The post also included a video of the exchange between Newsom and Sean Hannity when he made the statement quoted. X added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know." The added context read "According to data from the US EIA, independence is now (June 2023) at 59.242% where the highest ever (since Jan 1981) ratio was March 1983 at 70.221%. June 2023 is 74th on the list.
