Twitter community adds a context note to Trump War Room tweetTrump War Room, an official account for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, tweeted, “Does this look like a 'Free State' to you?" The tweet included a video taken in Florida in April of 2020. Twitter added a label to the post that read "Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The added context read "This video was of a South Florida protest in April 2020. As the audio in the embedded video relays at 0:45, 'Palm Beach County leaders standing firm to keep current [local] measures in place' …even though state-wide orders were set to expire April 30.” This note included several links to support this assertion. The label is part of Twitter’s Community Notes system. Twitter users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to tweets.
