Twitter community adds a context note to Trump War Room tweet: Trump War Room, the official account for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, tweeted, “WATCH: @JasonMillerinDC brings the receipts, EXPOSES Ron DeSantis flip-flopping on Anthony Fauci!” The tweet also contains a video of the NewsMax story on Fauci and DeSantis. Twitter added a warning label to the post. The header of the label says, “Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The label continues, “The claim that DeSantis didn’t start his criticism of Anthony Fauci until 2021 is incorrect. Eg, DeSantis in 2020” and links to one of DeSantis’s tweets. The note also says, “There was widespread acknowledgement and media coverage of DeSantis’ refusal to follow Fauci in 2020.” There are links to stories from Breitbart, Sun Sentinel, and Newsweek.
