TikTok censors MRCTV video on China's anti-lockdown protests: TikTok unsurprisingly censored an MRCTV video highlighting the anti-lockdown protests happening in China, claiming that it contained "sensitive content." The post was of a Brittany Hughes video titled "China Fights For Freedom While American Leftists Throw Ours Away." Users were forced to click through the sensitive content interstitial in order to view the filtered content. Not only do such filters give the impression of inappropriate content, similar filters have been shown to reduce user interaction with content on other platforms.
