Instagram censors Blaze TV story citing peer-reviewed study about Ivermectin: The Blaze TV posted an image of a headline to one of its stories on its Instagram page. The story was titled "Ivermectin reduces COVID death risk by 92%, peer-reviewed study finds." Instagram placed a "Missing Context" label on the story that cited two articles by fact-checkers FactCheck.org and Lead Stories, the latter of which called the story "False." Both fact-check articles called into question the accuracy of the peer-reviewed study published in online medical journal Cureus. Users attempting to share the story on Instagram were presented with a notice alerting them that the story was "Missing Context" and requiring another click to move ahead with sharing the story.
