YouTube deletes video of Virginia mom speaking out against mask mandates: Jim Jeffries, who according to his YouTube about section is a Virginia father of three, posted a video of Merianne Jensen, a Virginia mother who spoke at her local school board meeting. Jensen asked in the video, "If masks work, why don't they," and later she asserted that "we play politics with kids faces by placing restrictive fabric over their nose and mouths that the CDC itself has said don't do anything." YouTube removed the video because it allegedly "violates medical misinformation policy," according to a screenshot published by The Daily Signal. YouTube did not specify how the video violated its rules but the policy forbids users from  posting "[c]laims that masks do not play a role in preventing the contraction or transmission of COVID-19." The platform later restored the video. According to his stated county of residence, Jeffries' Congressional Representative is Jennifer Wexton (D-VA).
