Instagram disables account of politically incorrect comedian: Comedian Ben Bankas reported that his Instagram account had been disabled on Sept. 15. Instagram reportedly sent Bankas an email asking him to verify his identity and provide proof he was the owner of the account, but gave no explanation for why it chose to disable his account. Bankas is known for his politically incorrect sketches, and was reportedly the first comedian to hold stand-up comedy shows during coronavirus lockdowns, according to Rebel News. The shows put on by Bankas were reportedly held outdoors, resulting in both large audiences, but also large fines for socially gathering.
