Writer and filmmaker Maggie VandenBerghe aka 'Fog City Midge' banned from Instagram: Instagram banned the account of journalist and filmmaker Maggie VandenBerghe, also known by her online pseudonym "Fog City Midge."  VandenBerghe makes videos that have often gone viral and been featured on The Blaze and Fox News. Instagram confirmed in a statement to Breitbart News that it had disabled VandenBerghe's account for “exceeding the number of violations" the platform allows. Instagram did not indicate specifically which rules the writer and filmmaker violated, according to Breitbart. VandenBerghe's ban from Instagram occurred right after she reposted one of conservative journalist Jack Posobiec's tweets that linked to a Washington Examiner story about the recent death of Christopher Sign, a journalist who broke the news of Bill Clinton’s meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch in 2016. VandenBerghe had over 220,000 followers at the time of her account's removal by Instagram.
