Twitter places 'misleading' content filter on myocarditis numbers taken from a CDC presentation: Tracy Høeg, a physician, epidemiologist and associate researcher at the University of California at Davis, tweeted a screenshot from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) branded "COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Updates." The presentation showed that 16-24-year-olds appear at the highest risk of myocarditis and pericarditis after receiving the second dose of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. It also showed a gross underestimation in the number of 16-24-year-olds expected to experience these inflammatory heart conditions due to the vaccines. Høeg added a comment on the data, saying "we are standing on shaky ground if we say the risk to otherwise healthy kids from Covid-19 is higher than it is from the vaccine." Twitter flagged Høeg's tweet and gave it a "misleading" content filter with a link to the COVID-19 help center and information on why "health officials consider COVID-19 vaccines are safe for most people."
