Toronto Sun reporter vents frustration about account censorship over NY Post article: Bryan Passifiume, a reporter with the Toronto Sun, took to Twitter to express his frustration after having his account censored. In his words, he had been "attempting to circumvent" Twitter's "censorship of the @newyorkposts' Hunter Biden coverage." While he was unwilling to share exactly how he attempted to circumvent it because he did not want to be censored again, he had a lot to say about the censorship. Passifiume explained, "I use this for work, not for pleasure...and while I was completely opposed to deleting the offending tweets and would have rather filed an appeal, I'm covering this breaking Christine Jessop news and I needed access to my Twitter account so I can do my job. I'm not pro-Trump, nor am I pro-Biden. What I am, however, is pro free press. The fact that Twitter - especially after @jack's bullshit mea culpa where he promised to 'do better' - continues to engage in partisan censorship just weeks before the US election is unconscionable. And I'm not even an American! I'm Canadian... I live in Canada and proudly work for a Canadian newspaper. The fact that Twitter is censoring the international press needs to be addressed. This can't go on. There, that's it. I've said my piece."
