X community adds a context note to user's post about Community Notes: A user on X posted, "Community Notes is being manipulated by groups of people on X And Community Notes knows this happening and are not making an attempt to correct this. Community Notes is a joke." The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. Only notes rated helpful by people from diverse perspectives appear on posts. Coordinating an effort to bring people of diverse perspectives together to manipulate @CommunityNotes would be difficult at best. communitynotes.twitter.com/guide/en/about…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk recently shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will now be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
