Tweet containing press release from Erie, PA Board of Elections hit with civic integrity notice: Mike Coudrey, an entrepreneur and CEO of a company that helps people grow their social media presence, tweeted a picture of a press release from the chairman of Erie, Pennsylvania's Board of Elections. The press release addressed allegations of election workers discarding ballots. While the press release denied the incident was perpetrated by an election staffer, it did indicate an investigation was underway to pursue potential criminal charges against the unaffiliated individual responsible for discarding ballots. The civic integrity notice blocks the press release from being seen by user's scrolling through their Twitter feeds and diminishes the tweets exposure across the platform. According to Twitter's notice, the content of Coudrey's tweet is "disputed" and could be "misleading about an election or other civic process."
