YouTube places restrictions on video journalist Matt Orfalea's video detailing the facts behind Kyle Rittenhouse case: Eighteen-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse was charged with first-degree murder after he killed two men and injured another in self-defense during one of the 2020 Antifa riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was later acquitted on all counts. Video journalist Matt Orfalea tweeted snapshots of a video he posted to YouTube March 23, 2021 that described the facts behind the Kyle Rittenhouse case. YouTube later placed an age restriction on the video (according to Orfalea's snapshots) and also removed the "share" button from the video. The restriction claimed, "The following content has been identified by the YouTube community as inappropriate or offensive to some audiences. Viewer discretion is advised." Journalist Glenn Greenwald decried the restrictions in a retweet of Orfalea's snapshots, "It is impossible to overstate how repressive Google has become in its censorship regime on YouTube. Almost no establishment orthodoxies can be challenged. @0rf was long a pro-Bernie videographer and this is what he's enduring."
