Twitter censors candidate for US Senate Jackson Lahmeyer: According to a purported screenshot of his censorship notice, candidate for US Senate in Oklahoma Jackson Lahmeyer was censored by Twitter for "glorifying violence." He had tweeted shortly after it was announced that Elon Musk was seeking to purchase Twitter, apparently in a premature effort to test Musk's commitment to free speech. The tweet covered much ground, saying ""More Truth Unleashed On Twitter: Transgenderism = Mental Illness - Anthony Fauci Is A Mass Murderer - Kyle Rittenhouse Is A Hero - Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong - COVID Was Manufactured In A Lab." Apparently the "glorifying violence" rule violation was in reference to calling Kyle Rittenhouse a hero, although that likely was not the only problem Twitter had with the tweet. Lahmeyer was required to delete the tweet in order unlock his account. Ryan Fournier, reporting on the censorship on his own Twitter account, claimed that Lahmeyer was restricted from tweeting for one week as well, but this could not be confirmed.
