Twitter labels tweet of alleged Twitter censorship "sensitive content:" Twitter user, @HelveticFreeman tweeted that the platform suspended his account for 12 hours without explanation. In the same tweet, he included screenshots of articles that discuss a connection between Big Tech censorship and the self-censorship of social media users. Twitter placed a sensitive content filter over his screenshots, forcing users to click through the interstitial filter in order to see the link preview and click through to the feedback form. Not only do such filters give the impression of inappropriate content, but similar filters have been shown to reduce user interaction with content.
