In a March 24th tweet, the user indicated that Twitter had suspended their account, although it has since been reinstated. Further, they indicated that Twitter had revoked their verification, as well as wiped out nearly 160K of their organic followers, something that they indicated has happened in the past. 

I have attempted to contact the user, as well as Twitter, to get more information on this. I will consider it pending, and will update if I get any answers.
