X community adds a context note to Adobe's post: The X account for software company Adobe posted "We recently made an update to our Terms of Use with the goal of providing more clarity on a few specific areas. We have received a number of questions resulting from this update and want to provide some clarity." The post continued, explaining why a "limited license" to users' content is required "solely for the purpose of operating or improving the services and software and to enforce our terms and comply with the law, such as to protect against abusive content." The X community added a note to the post that read: "Readers added context they thought people might want to know. The prominent point of contention is Section 4.2, which is not addressed in this response. Section 4.2 is titled "Licenses to Your Content". Read the full section here: adobe.com/legal/terms.ht…" The label is part of X’s Community Notes system. X users are able to sign up as contributors to add context to posts. X owner Elon Musk shared that any post with a Community Note added to it will be demonetized. The Community Notes account on X also posted that notices will be pushed to users who previously engaged with a post when a Community Note is added to it later.
