The anti-free speech YouTube app is threatening MRCTV for allegedly spouting “hate speech” against pedophiles. No, we’re not kidding.

YouTube “temporarily suspended” MRCTV’s channel Wednesday due to a “Community Guidelines” violation, according to a notice sent to MRCTV. The banned video featured commentary from MRCTV Managing Editor Brittany Hughes on the dangers of pushing leftist gender ideology and transgenderism on children and how they could lead to sexual abuse.

The video — headlined “Pushing Gender Confusion and Drag on Kids Isn’t the Left’s Goal. The Endgame Is Far Worse” — slammed a whacko USA Today article from January 2022 that claimed pedophilia is “among the most misunderstood” sexual disorders. Hughes mocked the article, saying, “We are misunderstanding pedophiles, y’all.”

According to screenshots obtained by MRC Free Speech America, YouTube claimed that the MRCTV video violated its nutty “Community Guidelines” on “hate speech,” barring the division from publishing content and live-streaming for 13 days.

The anti-free speech YouTube platform threatened the conservative channel with a permanent ban if it does not genuflect to its leftist guidelines. “Just 1 more strike will result in the permanent removal of your channel,” YouTube said.

MRC Free Speech America Vice President Dan Schneider slammed YouTube’s assault against MRCTV, saying “Shockingly, YouTube thinks that the political debate over whether child sex offenders should have contact with children is over,” Schneider said. “This is emblematic of everything that is wrong with YouTube. These platforms should be placed where people can have political debates and discussions.”

Why is YouTube censoring a video that calls out a media outlet for defending individuals who pose a threat to children? Unsurprisingly, YouTube did not immediately respond to MRC Free Speech America’s comments before publication.

This is not the first time YouTube has targeted MRCTV. The anti-free speech YouTube page has targeted the MRCTV a total of five times on bogus claims of COVID-19 misinformation and other community violations in the span of three years, according to MRC Free Speech America’s exclusive CensorTrack.org database.
