YouTube has removed an interview with Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson because of his comments on COVID-19 vaccinations.

Johnson said he disagreed with giving a COVID-19 vaccine to children ages 5-11. Show host Dan O’Donnell said the video was removed and his account was suspended for one week.

“I have just been informed that @YouTube has removed my interview with Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson (@SenRonJohnson) and suspended my account for a week,” O’Donnell tweeted. “Johnson, A SITTING UNITED STATES SENATOR, said he disagreed with the FDA's pending approval of vaccines for 5-11 year olds.”

Johnson also said he opposed President Biden’s pending vaccine mandate for businesses with over 100 employees. Interestingly, he said he has not decided on whether he will seek another term in office yet and will wait several months to make a decision.

O’Donnell appeared to be flabbergasted at the removal and suspension.

“The fundamental American ideal of free and open discourse between representatives of the people (Senator Johnson) and members of the press (me) is being willfully and maliciously suppressed by companies like @Google through the outright censorship of platforms like @YouTube,” he tweeted.

Indeed, a video from then-Senator Kamala Harris indicated she would refuse to get vaccinated against COVID if it was created under the Trump administration is still on YouTube.

“If Donald Trump tells us we should take [a COVID vaccine], I'm not taking it," she said at the time.

Johnson was previously suspended from YouTube for his comments on Hydroxychloroquine.

"YouTube's ongoing COVID censorship proves they have accumulated too much unaccountable power," he told Fox News at the time.

Johnson discussed his suspension on episode seven of MRC’s new video series, CensorTrack with TR. You can view Johnson’s comments here.
