Rihanna Pressures Yellen, World Bank to Fight “Climate Emergencies” In another case of celebrities with agendas who try to use their platform to get what they want, singer Rihanna called for Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and World Bank President Ajay Banga to support her radical climate plan.

Rihanna called for Yellen and Banga, two important figures in the financial world, to “step up for communities hit hardest by climate emergencies,” in a June 20 tweet. The singer urged Yellen and Banga to “make bold commitments to finance & debt reforms,” whatever that means. She also pushed for the pair to support Global Citizen, a climate extremist organization that Rihanna supports. “Now it’s your turn,” she said to Yellen and Banga.

Rihanna has herself donated to many other eco-extremist organizations, including the Clara Lionel Foundation, according to The Hill. Now, it appears she is asking people in important positions like Yellen and Banga, to cave to radical woke Environmental Social and Governance or ESG goals. The Hill, quoting Rihanna’s song “Work,” said that Rihanna demanded that Yellen  “get to ‘work, work, work, work, work’” to support the singer’s ESG agenda.

What agenda? Well, Global Citizen, the organization that Rihanna linked in her post, Global Citizen, claimed on its website that “[t]he world’s most vulnerable countries and people who contribute the least to climate change, are the most impacted by it.” The woke solution, according to Global Citizen, is that “[g]lobal financial systems need to change now to free up funds for a sustainable, equitable, and just world.” Talk about radical nonsense.

In her call to action, Rihanna also mentioned Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley, who similarly pressured the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund to act, according to The Hill. Mottley complained that the international financial community is reasonably focused on short term policy and gains instead of fighting social ills.
