Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt told Fox Business that he uncovered a “vast censorship enterprise” by the White House, referencing a landmark lawsuit he filed that hinged on MRC Free Speech America research.

Eric Schmitt “At least forty-five folks from the Biden administration were in constant communication with these social media platforms to censor and suppress speech,” Schmitt said on the Sept. 8 edition of Varney & Co. Schmitt added that President Joe Biden’s lackeys in the White House “had weekly calls, censorship calls,” with members of the Big Tech propaganda machine.

“These social media platforms were changing their terms of service to deplatform folks,” Schmitt said.” [I]n addition to that, you had literally a high-ranking Facebook official texting the surgeon general of the United States, saying, ‘Hey, we did what you asked, what more can we do?’”

When asked whether the lawsuit, filed by Schmitt and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, uncovered true censorship or merely “manipulation” by the White House, Schmitt called the Biden administration’s actions “direct communication and issuing edicts that these social media platforms were following.”

That essentially makes Big Tech “an extension of the government,” according to Schmitt.

Schmitt said the incestuous relationship between Big Tech and the government “should scare Americans,” especially after his lawsuit revealed the true extent of the Biden administration’s pro-censorship policies. Biden’s government has been “outsourcing their censorship to these social media platforms to silence Americans,” Schmitt analyzed.

The Biden-Big Tech revelations are truly unprecedented, Schmitt said:

“It’s the first time we’ve been able to look under the hood where the federal government is directing these social media platforms to deplatform people, to silence folks, and they’re doing it. So at that point, now, we’ve reached the government silencing somebody in the town square via the social media platforms online, which is illegal, by the way, which is why we filed the lawsuit.” [Emphasis added].

What about the role of America’s leading health professionals in apparent censorship?

“We can’t wait to see Doctor Fauci’s emails,” Schmitt added.

Schmitt and Landry cited original research from the Media Research Center and its groundbreaking CensorTrack database to support their states’ First Amendment lawsuit against the Biden administration.

The lawsuit specifically cites MRC Free Speech America research that uncovered 646 separate times that Big Tech censored criticism of Biden. That was 646 instances in which Big Tech blocked the American public from learning more about the Hunter Biden laptop scandal, inflation, and even Joe Biden’s strange behavior around women and children.

This was one win in an ongoing legal battle with a Big Tech behemoth that tipped the scales of the 2020 election in Biden’s favor, according to a study by the MRC.
