“The entire ESG scheme is designed to funnel your retirement money to the maniacs on the radical left,” Former President Donald Trump warns in a new video denouncing new Biden Administration rules allowing asset managers to invest in environmental, social and governance causes, at the expense of fund growth.

“We MUST protect Americans from Radical Leftist ESG investments—I did it once, and it's time to do it again as I set the example for Republicans across the Country to follow my lead in fighting ESG!,” Trump writes on Truth Social, introducing a video in which he describing the dangers of the ESG movement.

“These people are sick,” Trump says in the video, adding that ESG investments could never attract funding without help, based solely on their profit potential:

“These poorly-performing woke financial scams are radical-left garbage that would never be funded on their own, and certainly never be funded on their own merits.

“The entire ESG scheme is designed to funnel your retirement money to the maniacs on the radical left.”

Trump also takes aim at President Joe Biden for the new rules allowing asset managers to invest their clients’ retirement and pension account money to advance liberal ESG political causes:

“He’s trying to use your money to fund fringe left-wing causes at your expense. You’re paying the price for all of this. And, it’s destroying our country, beside.”

Trump says that, if he is reelected president in 2024, he’ll take action to prevent asset managers from investing based on their political goals, instead of their clients’ financial best interests:

“When I’m in the White House I will sign an executive order and, with Congress’ support, a law to keep politics away from America’s retirement accounts forever. I will demand that funds invest your money to help you, not them.”

“I will once again protect our seniors, as I did before, from the woke left,” Trump says, concluding his remarks with a warning:

“And the woke left is bad news. They destroy countries.”
