Patreon suspends account of writer Whitney Webb: Whitney Webb is a staff writer for The Last American Vagabond and has previously published work with the Mintpress News and others. Patreon indicated to Webb that her removal was due to content on her channel that did not fall in line with Patreon's recently updated policy concerning medical misinformation. "They say that I am able to 'correct' the page so that it fits within the guidelines," said Webb in a post to her supporters, "but as you can see in the attached picture of that email, there[sic] were unable to provide an example of 'misinformation' to correct." A disgruntled Webb noted that because of Patreon's inability to provide her with examples of her violations like it said it would, she doesn't even have the opportunity to correct the content Patreon said violated its guidelines. As a result of her situation, and a similar censorship situation with one of the blog's she writes for, The Last American Vagabond, Webb asked her audience to no longer support her through Patreon.
