Tucker Carlson Network gets fact-checked for interview with political prisoner: Tucker Carlson's news channel posted an interview on Facebook with Paul Vaughn, a pro-life protestor convicted under the FACE Act for protesting outside an abortion clinic in Nashville, Tennessee.

"When you start putting people in jail for praying, it's pretty clear who you're actually working for," read the caption of the interview. "Paul Vaughn is facing 11 years in Biden's prisons."

The post was deemed by "independent fact-checker" USA Today to be "false information." The fact check alleges that the group was arrested for physically obstructing the clinic rather than simply "praying."

"Vaughn was arrested for physically obstructing access to an abortion clinic, not for praying," the fact check read. "He was convicted of a crime that carries a maximum penalty of 10 1/2 years in prison. The law in question explicitly protects First Amendment speech and also includes language ensuring free access to houses of worship."
