Bank of America reportedly de-banks journalist in the midst of filming a documentary on FBI abuses: Bank of America (BOA) reportedly decided to de-bank independent journalist Radix Verum. Verum explained that she showed up at her bank to process a check. According to her overview of the events, when she arrived, a bank teller informed her that the risk department of BOA had decided to close down her account. When she called the risk department, they purportedly would give her no further details as to why the decision was made. The decision was made after Verum announced that she would be travelling to film more of her documentary about the Gretchen Whitmer FBI entrapment case, "Kidnap and Kill: An FBI Terror Plot." Verum concluded that BOA didn't like her reporting or the theme of her documentary. "So @BankofAmerica has decided to 'terminate' their business relationship with me," Verum posted to X. "Their 'risk department' made this determination for literally no reason. I have been with them for years. This is clearly because of my documentary and my critical reporting."
