Facebook deletes user's post when she asked if her friends on the platform were ok during the COVID-19 pandemic: A Facebook user made a post reaching out to her friends at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. "Is everyone ok? I know it's hard not to panic," she said. She went on to describe her experience at Walmart and seeing the empty shelves. "It's horrifying to see the store so empty but I got everything I needed without hoarding anything," she said. "We all should try to settle down and let the stores catch up the government has said that there is no food shortage if we would go about life normally with caution. We can get through this!" Facebook flagged the post as going against its "Community Standards"  and removed her post. The user later appealed the decision and Facebook restored the post.
