Twitter removes MRCTV's Benjamin Graham's tweet sarcastically addressing another user: Comedian Steve Hofstetter tweeted "[a]ccording to scientists, Jellyfish [sic] have no heart and no brains. We just found a new mascot for the republican [sic] party." MRCTV video producer Ben Graham responded to Hofstetter. "Only if we make yours [democrat mascot] a lemming. You're rodents who think you're cute, but you'll jump off any cliff with your friends so long as they call it 'justice,'" he said according to screenshots. Twitter removed the tweet and "temporarily limited some of [Graham's] account features" for violating its "rules against promoting or encouraging suicide or self-harm." Graham said he appealed the restriction, as the accusation of a violation ignored relevant context of the conversation, and Twitter "reversed it almost immediately."
