Instagram reportedly restricts account of Arizona gubernatorial candidate for 24 hours: Kari Lake, a former news reporter now running for governor in Arizona, said she was censored by Instagram for 24 hours after posting pictures of herself meeting with other Arizonans. "Apparently posting photos of Arizona and Arizonans is controversial on Instagram. #TechCensorship really sucks," tweeted Lake alongside a screenshot of the notice she had received from the platform. "We restrict certain activity to protect our community. Based on your use, this action will be unavailable for you until 2021-07-18," the purported alert read.
