Twitter community adds a context note to Ian Miles Cheong’s tweet: Independent political commentator Ian Miles Cheong tweeted a video of an unruly crowd and a person dancing on a car in New York City. The caption of the video said, “NYC is completely out of control.” Twitter added a warning label to the post. The header of the label said, “Readers added context they thought people might want to know.” The warning continued, “Twitch streamer Kai Cenat announced a PS5 giveaway on Instagram. He would be giving away a console to fans at Union Square in New York. The announcement caused thousands of fans to storm the square. A mass panic broke out after many of the fans started rioting.” It also linked to an article by NBC New York.
