At his father’s highly touted Nov. 8 Florida rally, Donald Trump Jr. minced no words in assailing Big Tech’s election interference.

In his fiery speech to a cheering crowd, Trump Jr. — host of the Triggered podcast and son of former President Donald J. Trump —condemned the “unprecedented assistance, lies, and bullsh** from Big Tech” that brought President Joe Biden into power. Indeed, former president Trump is one of the most censored candidates in the 2024 presidential race and, as the MRC has previously detailed, Big Tech helped steal the 2020 election.

Trump Jr. has every reason to highlight Big Tech’s attacks on his father. Just before the 2020 election, Big Tech platforms such as Meta and Twitter (now X) blocked users from accessing a damning New York Post article exposing extensive evidence of the Biden family’s shady self-dealing in Eastern Europe. Meta’s Facebook also suppressed the story from user’s feeds, while Twitter went so far as to lock users out of their accounts when they tried to share the story.

A poll commissioned by the MRC revealed that the social media blackout had a staggering impact. According to the poll, one in six Biden voters (17%) would not have selected the scandal-plagued career politician had they been made aware of his misconduct and Trump’s successes. 9.4 percent of those surveyed would have changed their vote based on the laptop scandal alone. The poll surveyed 1,750 Biden voters in seven swing states which would have gone for then-President Trump had Big Tech not censored these crucial stories.

Big Tech’s election interference has escalated since the 2020 election. The MRC recently caught Google manipulating its search results to sabotage Biden’s opponents. In a query for “republican presidential campaign websites,” Google did not produce a single Republican candidate’s website. Astoundingly, not even Donald Trump’s website appeared, even though he is a former president of the United States and the current leading candidate. The search did, however, produce results for former CIA agent Will Hurd, who ended his presidential bid over a month ago.

Trump Jr. asked Americans to support his family’s crusade against Big Tech, saying “we cannot do it without each and everyone of you calling out the nonsense, calling out the bullsh**, talking to your friends, and fighting like you’ve never fought before.”

The Nov. 8 rally featured both Trump Jr. and his father, along with Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, mixed martial arts star Jorge Masvidal, comedian Roseanne Barr and Trump Jr.’s fiance, Kimberly Guilfoyle. The elder Trump is currently seeking a rematch with Biden in the 2024 presidential election.
