YouTube removed then restored the account of Washington Republican congressional candidate, Joe Kent:  YouTube removed Washington state Republican congressional candidate Joe Kent's campaign YouTube channel. His campaign posted at least one clip of an interview he did with podcaster Steve Bannon, according to both Kent and YouTube. C-Net reported in January that YouTube removed Bannon's War Room podcast channel and a YouTube spokesperson told CensorTrack that the platform "terminated the Joe Kent for Congress channel for reuploading content from a previously terminated channel." The spokesperson further explained that "[u]pon review of their appeal, we have reinstated the Joe Kent for Congress channel and issued a warning to the channel, in accordance with our three-strikes system." The platform's three-strikes system typically allows for a warning strike and two additional strikes within a 90 day period before a third strike would remove a channel from the platform entirely.
