Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt (R) announced in a press release and on Twitter Tuesday that more bombshell documentation about alleged collusion between the Biden administration and Big Tech will be emerging.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana granted a request to force the federal government to produce records from various White House and Health and Human Services (HHS) officials, according to a press release by Schmitt’s office. The granted request comes amid a First Amendment lawsuit first filed in May by Missouri and Louisiana against the Biden administration.

“A federal judge has ordered Dr. Fauci and the White House Press Secretary to respond to our discovery requests!” Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry tweeted Sept. 6. Schmitt confirmed in a tweet that the discovery requests applied to “key WH & HHS officials like Dr. Fauci, the WH Press Secretary, and others.”

The ruling allows Schmitt and Landry to “collect the communications” between key Biden administration officials like National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci and White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, and tech companies like Twitter and Facebook.

The New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA), which joined Schmitt and Landry’s lawsuit, released a case summary stating: “Public statements, emails, and recent publicly released documents establish that the President of the United States and other senior officials in the Biden Administration violated the First Amendment by directing social-media companies to censor viewpoints that conflict with the government’s messaging on Covid-19.”

“Up until this point, the Department of Justice has refused to cooperate with our requests for discovery from top officials in the Biden Administration under the guise of ‘executive privilege,’” Schmitt said in a statement.

“The American people deserve answers on how the federal government has colluded with social media companies to censor free speech on these major platforms. We will continue to fight to uncover more of this vast censorship enterprise.”

In a long tweet thread last Thursday, Schmitt uncovered some bombshell revelations in documents provided through the lawsuit’s discovery requests and subpoenas. The documents contain evidence that government agencies directed social media companies to undertake several content moderation actions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“DOJ [Department of Justice] identified 45 federal officials who have interacted with social media companies on misinformation,” Schmitt tweeted Sept. 1. “Beyond DOJ, Meta identified 32 additional federal officials including White House Officials who communicated with them, and YouTube identified 11 federal officials including White House Officials who communicated with them, many of whom were not disclosed by DOJ.”

The Louisiana and Missouri lawsuit cited original research from Media Research Center and its unique CensorTrack database to support its case.
