Pierre Omidyar followed George Soros’s leftist billionaire blueprint and launched a so-called “ambitious” journalism program to spread radical propaganda in the United States.

Leftist billionaire and eBay founder, Pierre Omidyar, launched Reporters in Residence last month through his Omidyar Network. The six-month long program claims to advance so-called “ambitious journalism and economic reporting,” and is reportedly focusing on “Reimagining Capitalism,” so-called “Worker Power” and “Corporations, Capital Markets & the Common Good,” according to a Dec. 14, 2022 press release.

“At Omidyar Network, we are devoted to addressing the structural challenges at the heart of our economic system and to shaping a new, inclusive economy where markets serve the interests of all people and society,” Alexis Krieg, Senior Manager for Strategic Communications at Omidyar Network said. “[W]e believe it is impossible to do that work without a steady stream of strong reporting from a variety of viewpoints.”

The Inaugural class includes three left wing journalists: independent journalist Bryce Covert, freelance “labor” journalist Kim Kelly and Edward Ongweso Jr., formerly a writer for Vice’s Motherboard.

One of the Omidyar Network’s core claims is that the “current form of capitalism is fundamentally broken” which is why the organization is seeking to uproot the whole system. The company even admitted that it won’t shy away from “applying pressure” on companies that are “resistant” to comply with its globalist digital technology agenda.

The organization also has a history of trying to reimagine capitalism. Last year, Omidyar Network and The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation poured a combined $41 million into researching “alternatives” to free market economics, according to The New York Times.

“I think there’s pretty broad agreement that the traditional set of economic ideas has passed its sell-by date,” Omidyar CEO Mike Kubzansky reportedly said at the time.

Omidyar followed the Soros model of shaping public opinion and government policy through the media figures and organizations his network funds. In 2021 and 2022, the Omidyar Network donated $509,500 to left wing organization Accountable Tech which advocates for suppressing free speech on online platforms, according to Influence Watch.
